Dear Parents,

I rarely give the grade of “E” for the first marking period.  If your son or daughter received an “S” on their report card, this means that they are currently performing well and should continue to do so as the semester progresses.  If your son or daughter received an “N” or a “U,” they are either performing at a below standard level, have not submitted all of their written work, or may have submitted plagiarized work.
